SALTY SNAPPER is run primarily by myself, Norie Ishida. A friend of mine shared his passion of diving with me and ever since then, I fell in love with the ocean and the lives beneath. Throughout my 24 years of diving, I have encouraged many of my friends to join me on my trips. Considering how I have given them the opportunity to explore the ocean, I have decided to follow my friend's passion - hence I became a dive instructor.

Diving is my passion and sharing my passion with others got me to start SALTY SNAPPER. I want to share what I know and I am hoping to learn from others: Become a diver with me in Hong Kong or anywhere else in the world. Lets travel and dive the world together.

The Big Island of Hawaii

My first discovery scuba dive was in Hawaii. The nervousness before the dive, my first breath underwater, my first ever turtle, the feeling of being part of the ocean: I will never forget this experience and always crave for more.
